Tastings, food and access to all vendors are included with VIP and GA tickets. Designated Drivers are welcome to enjoy the event, but will not receive a tasting glass and may not taste any alcohol samples. All lanyards designating your ticket status must be visible at all times during the event. 

Designated parking spaces are available in the Hilton parking garage next door or in the Penn's Landing lot in front of Independence Seaport Museum. Both parking areas can be entered at Walnut Street and Columbus Blvd.

All attendees must enter and exit through the main entrance (blue doors) of the building.

-Wheelchairs are available in adult sizes, free of charge, at the Admissions desk.
-The main elevator serves all floors of the Museum.

All bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Large bags* are not allowed to be brought in, but shopping bags are available and provided by one of our sponsors, World Wide Stereo. WWS will be handing out handled bags with logos to make carrying items easier for our guests.

We are continuing to add distillers to an ever-growing list and will share new additions as the list grows. You can check for ongoing updates under "Distilleries" on our "Details" drop down menu, accessible in this website's menu bar. Master distillers attending will be listed under "Master Distillers and Experts".

You will not be able to purchase any spirits; this is a tasting and educational event only. You will be able to purchase whiskey-related crafts.

Business or business casual attire is recommended.

Yes, there will be limited lounge seating where guests can relax and enjoy the night. The 4th floor ballroom will have chairs and tables to sit with food.

Taxi service near the Seaport Museum and Penn's Landing is fairly regular. We strongly recommend using Uber and Lyft to request a safe ride home, or call your favorite local taxi company.

VIP ticketholders will be invited to take part in an exclusive discussion forum at 5:45 PM featuring Michael Veach and Max Pfeffer in the museum's educational classroom. You can find more information HERE. There will be another forum led by Larry Ebersold and Greg Metze at 6:45 PM.

No. Once you've exited the event, there is no re-entry. 

There is no sound system in the building, so we will be posting the winners on signage by the raffle tables. We will ask that each person that enters the contests leave their phone number, which we will use to call and inform you of your prize winnings.

All guests are required to present a valid photo ID upon entry. Every person admitted to the event must be 21 years of age.

As the American Whiskey Convention approaches, we want to let you know what we're going to make your experience as healthy as possible, given the public health news surrounding the novel coronavirus and flu season, in general.

As of today, we at the 2020 AWC will proceed as scheduled. We are watching recommendations from State and County Health Department Officials closely. Our #1 priority is for the health and safety of our supporters and attendees.

We're asking folks to take standard flu season precautions, as advised by Health Department Officials. All our event staff members will be following health department and CDC health guidelines.
